Representing the Czech Republic on the international sailing stage
Jan Belik races the ILCA 7, the men's Olympic single-handed dinghy, against the strongest young fleets in Europe and the world. Two Gold Fleet finishes at the U21 World Championships. A full 2027 campaign ahead.
Four years.
From zero to the world's start lines.
Most sailors at this level started racing before they could swim well. Jan started in 2022.
Jan Belik grew up sailing an Optimist for fun, never for results. In 2022, as racing returned after the pandemic, he decided to commit fully to Olympic-class sailing. He chose the ILCA 7: the boat sailed by the men's single-handed fleet at the Olympic Games, and the most crowded and competitive dinghy class in the world.
The ILCA 7 is one design. Every hull, mast and sail is identical, so the difference between first and fiftieth is the sailor: fitness, boat-handling, strategy and nerve. Jan rebuilt himself around those demands. He went from 60 kg to 85 kg of functional weight, the range where an ILCA 7 sailor can hold the boat flat and fast when the wind builds past 20 knots.
The progress has been unusually fast. In four seasons he has gone from his first serious regattas to the Czech National Team, to World and European Championships, and twice into the Gold Fleet at the U21 World Championships. Many sailors spend a decade or more getting there.
Today he trains year-round, on the water and in the gym, with a coach and a structured season plan. Every regatta is raced under the Czech flag, against the national-team sailors of Europe, the Americas and Oceania.
Raced at the highest level of the age group
At World and European Championships the fleet is split after the qualifying series. The Gold Fleet is the top group: the sailors who race for the title.

One season. Five major events.
2027 is the step from the junior circuit into senior international racing: two European Championships and three Sailing Grand Slam events, the world's top Olympic-class circuit, built around four training blocks.
Build
Strength and weight phase. Warm-water sailing camp in southern Europe.
Race
The spring circuit, where national teams measure themselves.
Peak
Summer racing and the second training block on the water.
Deliver
The season's final championship and full review.
2025 was Jan's first full international season. It is the basis for the 2027 budget of €40,000.
A partnership built on performance, not followers
Jan is not an influencer, and the value of partnering with him is not measured in reach. It is measured in association, access and story.
A Czech National Team athlete
Your brand stands next to an athlete selected to represent his country in an Olympic class. That is a credential no media budget can buy.
International stage, every event
Hull and kit branding in official event photography, distributed by World Sailing, ILCA, EurILCA and national federations from venues across Europe and beyond.
A premium sport and demographic
Sailing reaches owners, executives and decision-makers. It is the sport of Rolex, Porsche, Prada and the America's Cup.
A story your company can tell
From zero to the world's start lines in four years. Discipline, measurable progress and resilience translate directly into corporate values.
Inspiration inside your company
Talks, team sessions and on-water experiences that bring high-performance thinking to your people and clients.
Early, authentic, long-term
Partners who join now are part of the story from the beginning, at a cost that reflects where the journey is, not where it is going.
Every partner in this campaign funds race days, coaching hours and kilometres of travel. All of it is reported back.
The 2027 partner family
Five funding levels for the season, plus supplier places for the products Jan relies on every day.
Product and service partners, one per category, with branding and content in return for what they supply.
Partner logos appear here in single-colour white, sized by tier. Supplier partners keep category exclusivity for the season. The full partnership deck with all benefits is available on request.
